Fright Night’s is a nonprofit organization founded by the Fountain Family, born from their love of Halloween and their desire to have a positive impact on North Carolina.Fright Nights NC is a FREE haunted house that occurs the last two weekends of October with the goal of raising money via voluntary donations for the NC Food Bank (check out their website in our bio)! If you need volunteer hours, love Hallows Eve, or simply want to lend a helping hand, we are recruiting volunteers for our first volunteer work day on July 20th from 10AM-12PM. Lincoln is a 5th grader at Swift Creek Elementary school and he was born into Fright Nights! He has never really known a Halloween without our haunted house and he seems to have inherited his father’s passion for scaring and his father’s patience to wait for the perfect scare. He also has a talent for helping his dad figure out where the best scares would be, so I guess you would say he is our assistant scare architect! On scare nights, we really don’t know where he will be because he watches as people go through, finds the spots where they least expect a scare to happen, and then… Lincoln loves Halloween and he hopes that we can exceed our fundraising goal this year! Kasey is a senior at Athens Drive and is co-founder of Fright Nights with her dad. Kasey is a member of her high school’s advanced choir, plays cello, and participation ates in her high school’s theatrical productions. It was her idea to take her dad’s passion for Halloween and combine it with her passion for helping others. She is also the reason that we have these amazing volunteers, she has recruited most of them! Kasey has worked on all parts of the haunted house and has been one the best scarers in the group by finding new ways personalize the scare she has in store for you! She is off to college next year, as are many of our core volunteers, so you will definitely want to come see her and this talented and passionate group of kids. Remember that 100% of what we collect in donations will go to our charities! He has helped to build every haunted house we have done, and he has scared many people in the maze. Kenny has also brought so many moments of laughter and many “teachable” moments to our team that could never be duplicated! Kenny will be lurking about this year as well, but you’ll have to find him. Hayes is a senior at Middle Creek High School, is the theater tech crew leader, and makes some amazing pottery! Like Kenny, he has also been a volunteer for as long as we have been open. Hayes is the person that Rich calls when hurricanes are about to hit, or when we need some really good mac n cheese (no paprika). Hayes also just shows up to help, any day, any time. He has been our top fundraiser as well, always looking for creative ways to raise money for our charities.When you get Kenny and Hayes together, something funny and memorable is likely to happen. She also comes to all the volunteer Saturdays as well as anytime Sue yells help! Natalie is also in science olympiad at Athens Drive and a professional TV binge watcher. She spreads kindness wherever she goes and leads us with her amazing intelligence and an impactful voice. Madi has spent every Halloween at the Fountains since she was 1 year old, and we have the pictures to prove it! She and her mom and dad, Kim and Mike, have helped us build our haunted house since the beginning. Madi is a senior at Cary Academy and has done some of the wonderful artwork you have seen over the years. She has recruited other volunteers, and been a huge help with all the amazing artwork and prop design at fright nights! Madi loves noodles and world peace, but mostly noodles. She and her mom and dad, Kim and Mike, have helped us build our haunted house since the beginning. The Veum family has been a part of Fright Nights since we started. Annie and Ellie have probably put in the most hours as volunteers. They are always willing to do whatever we ask them to do, even if its a hot and sweaty job. They are both sophomores at LongLeaf Academy and love to read! Annie also plays piano and cello and Ellie plays Obe. They have had many scare roles in the past and always find a way to make your trip through the haunted house memorable. Reid is also one of our long time volunteers and Annie and Ellie’s brother. He is in 6th grade at Exploris Middle School. On scare nights, Reid is one of those kids that just waits to see where our guests might not expect to find him (like laying on the ground right next to you) and then he just appears!
